Nice visitor center with many interesting books. Walking along the trails and the fence lines, and viewing the log cabin, was a definite step back in time. Very informative.

It was a great little museum for home school, it’s very kept up to date, and the bathrooms were lovely. Learned that every state in the union had its own money. That the civil war also had a hand in unifying the money for the central banks to monopolize. Easy to arrive; we used the place to plug a tea kettle in for hot water and bathrooms. Also learned some valuable history for free. It’s a great little stop for a rest area while traveling. The women was really nice and had lots of information.

I ended up going from the last to the 1st stop. It really made me think. The battlefield is easy to get around and so significant. Bedford Forrest was an amazing figure.

Small but phenomenal museum and welcoming center. If you are lucky you will get to meet State Representative Steve McDaniel. He was with the 52nd Confederate Infantry Regiment, as was I. He was an extra in many of the Mini-series and movies about the War of Northern Aggression. He has a wealth of information about Parker's Crossroads and the Battle, and about the War of Northern Aggression. I always stop here and purchase items to help support the Battlefield preservation. It's definitely worth the stop!
